STEM AI Studio – Terms of Use

Welcome to STEM AI Studio. By enrolling in our programs, accessing our website, or using our services, you (“Student” and/or “Parent/Guardian”) agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

Use of our services also constitutes consent to our Privacy Policy, including the collection and use of personal data in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable laws for minors.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or enrolling in a program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

Modification of Terms:
STEM AI Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility & Parental Consent

• Students under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to enroll.

• Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring their child’s compliance with these Terms.

3. Program Access & Use

Programs include live classes, office hours, projects, and certificates.

STEM AI Studio reserves the right to change instructors, schedules, or delivery platforms while maintaining overall program quality.

Students must:

• Attend classes respectfully.

• Refrain from disruptive or inappropriate conduct.

• Not share, resell, or record course materials without permission.

4. Payment Terms

• Tuition and fees must be paid in full before the program start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

• All fees are in [CAD/USD]. Parents/Guardians are responsible for applicable taxes, bank charges, or currency conversion fees.

• Registration or processing fees are non-refundable.

• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

• All program content, materials, and resources are the property of STEM AI Studio and its licensors.

• You are granted a limited, personal license to use the content for educational purposes only.

• You may not copy, distribute, or commercialize any materials.

6. Third-Party Tools Disclaimer

STEM AI Studio uses third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google, Canva, LMS). We are not responsible for outages, data issues, or service failures of these providers. Use of such platforms is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Engage in harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behavior.

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform.

• Record or share sessions without consent.

• Submit work that infringes on others’ intellectual property.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if these Terms are violated, fees are unpaid, or behavior is harmful to the learning environment.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STEM AI Studio, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your or your child’s use of our services,

• Violation of these Terms, or

• Infringement of third-party rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• STEM AI Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the program giving rise to the claim.

11. Dispute Resolution (Arbitration)

Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada, under Canadian Arbitration Association rules. Court litigation is waived except where prohibited by law. Arbitration may be conducted online or in-person.

12. Force Majeure

STEM AI Studio is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• Pandemics

• Internet outages or technical failures

• Government restrictions

• Third-party service failures

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
